Fiber Thickness on the Test Bench

In some technical and technological discussions, the argument boils down to the different thickness values of the fibers. Optimal fiber characteristics are only achieved through a combination of the formulation of the raw materials, cross-section and thickness.

Together with a well-known laboratory, Polytan has carried out an analysis of the different fiber cross-sections. The results revealed clear deviations in terms of dimensional thickness along the entire width of the fiber and ribbon.
